CKY 13th Anniversary Open Day

 

Our school’s 13th Anniversary Open Day was held on Saturday, 21st March, 2015. On the day we offered a wide variety of events, games and activities, prepared by our teachers, students, parents, PTA, alumni association and Student Council. Stalls

Over 40 stalls offered a multitude of games for all visitors. The stalls were organized by different classes, subjects, and groups in the school like our Houses and Student Council. A lot of dedication and hard work went into preparing the stalls for the Open Day, and it’s great to see how their efforts paid off. The games offered at the stalls varied from the typical games one would see like throwing hoops onto cones, knocking off cans with balls, to interesting and challenging games like identifying famous people from history.

 

Other stalls sold snacks and food, providing everything from popcorn to cup noodles, as well as merchandise and souvenirs of our school.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Student Performances

Student Performances took place in the auditorium and the amphitheatre.  They were musical performances by our orchestras and bands, and this year we also had cheerleading performances from all four houses, as well as speech performances.

Sports Events

Sports events took place in the basketball court, football field and the swimming pool. Apart from student-teacher ball games, other highlights of the day were the Swimming Gala, where students from all four houses competed in a variety of events, and the badminton competition held in the newly built gymnasium.
