Art Attack!

Recently, our club Art Attack Club was asked and accepted to join a frog drawing competition called Save The Frogs! The meaning behind this was to raise public awareness of the possible extinction of frogs. During the event, our teachers, Mr. Chan and Mrs. Potwin, taught us a new technique to create the smooth texture of frog skin in oil pastels. We mixed baby oil to the oil pastel parts to create a painted effect for frog skin which, to my surprise, worked like magic! It is fun to investigate new techniques and look closely at frogs' different colors and textures. It is also a good activity to practice our drawing skills and creativity. It has been a meaningful and educational competition, and our club is hoping to meet more challenges like that in the future.
