Future Frisbee Star of CKY
Alexis Yip, a year 6 student from Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School, has started playing Ultimate Frisbee for only 3 months. During the Friday club sessions, she finds this sport very interesting and fun. Ever since Alexis started playing Ultimate Frisbee, her greatest personal goal was to learn how to flick the frisbee. It must have been very hard for her to admit this initially! In our conversation, she decided that her ultimate goal would be to do more tricks to get the frisbee into a basket. When she plays frisbee, she insists that “Sparks” by Hilary Duff be her jam because it is so jumpy. When I asked her what superpower she wanted, she said she wanted a power to jump very high because it would be easier to shoot the frisbee into the basket. She also wanted an unlimited supply of basketball shoes because they are very fashionable and trendy, and would allow her to jump higher. In the future she wants to be a spokesman for Nike.

Hi! My name’s Tsz Lam Ng, I am a high school student from Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School. I am studying the IB programme and have been playing Ultimate Frisbee for 3 months during the Friday Club sessions. I find this sport both very interesting and challenging. I am always eager to try out many different sports.
Ever since I started playing Ultimate Frisbee, my greatest personal achievement has been teaching frisbee to younger children since I am the club leader. As I am in my last year in The IB programme, my studies sometimes takes priority but as a leader, I have been learning to manage my time more effectively. Currently the thing I am having most trouble with is the frisbee formations and doing trick shots. It is my ultimate goal in doing this sport - doing trick shots.
When I play frisbee, I believe “Cheerleader” by Omi suits me very nicely. If I could have a kind of superpower for 24 hours, I would like to have super speed because I could have all the time in the world if I could run at light speed. If I could have an unlimited supply of anything, then I would like to have an unlimited amount of future technology. In the future, I would like to be the spokesman for Burton.
